The Association of Downtown Businesses is an independent group of business owners and volunteers that promotes the historic and economic redevelopment of the traditional business district in Stevens Point.

I worked under the direction of the Executive Director to achieve ADB’s promotional goals by planning, promoting and implementing downtown events and providing other promotional or administrative support as needed.

This was done through:

• Attending monthly committee meetings to develop plans and goals
• Communicating with business owners and community organizations to secure volunteers and event participation
• Designing and distributing advertisements and collateral

Events included Krazy Days, Eat to the Beat, July 4th Parade, Dozynki Harvest Fest and Home for the Holidays
